In the weeks since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, thousands of you have contributed your time and money to help those affected by the hurricanes. The generosity and compassion of our Pearson colleagues is quite remarkable.
We wanted to share with you some of what’s been going on with volunteering, outreach, fundraising, and other group efforts around Pearson that are helping the victims begin to recover.

On the ground in Louisiana
Pearson NCS' staffer Frank Shemoneck took an intensive Red Cross course before heading down to Louisiana to volunteer. His colleagues back at the Owatonna, Minnesota printing plant produced coloring books and puzzle books to donate to the Red Cross for children in shelters and temporary accommodations.
